Last updated: June 25, 2026

local-cafes.com respects the intellectual property rights of others and responds to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement. This page explains how to submit a notice and how we handle it.

1. Reporting alleged copyright infringement

If you believe content on local-cafes.com infringes your copyright (for example, a photograph you own), please send a written notice to our designated agent through our Contact form including all of the following, as required by the DMCA (17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3)):

  • Your physical or electronic signature.

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.

  • Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it — including the exact URL(s).

  • Your contact information (name, address, telephone, email).

  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

2. What we do on receiving a valid notice

Upon receiving a compliant notice, we will expeditiously remove or disable access to the material identified. We may notify the affected party (where one exists) that the content was removed.

3. Counter-notice

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to our agent containing: your signature; identification of the removed material and its prior location; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake; your contact information; and consent to jurisdiction as provided by 17 U.S.C. §512(g).

4. Repeat infringers

We will, in appropriate circumstances, remove content and restrict or terminate the ability to submit content from parties who are repeat infringers.

5. Designated DMCA agent

All DMCA notices and counter-notices must be submitted directly to our operator through our online Contact form.

Note: misrepresenting that material is infringing may expose you to liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. §512(f).

6. Trademark complaints

For trademark concerns (including a listing that appears to be an official or affiliated site), see our Terms of Service and Contact us page — we correct or remove content on a valid request.
